INSPIRATIONAL GIFTS FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT PART 1

1 Corinthians 12:8, 2 peter 2 vs 1-2

The believers of Jesus Christ are given the gift of the holy spirit so that the word being preached by we believers can be confirmed by signs and wonders through the working. We have three categories that we will be looking at as we study along:

1. Revelation Gifts
2. Inspirational Gifts
3. Power Gifts

Revelational Gifts: the revelational gifts are classified into three which are the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge and discerning of spirits. Believers with the gift of word of wisdom are able to solve complex problems with godly wisdom beyond natural ability or education. All believers can have all this gifts and one person can have all. Gifts are exercised at will when the need arises and a backslider may sometimes retain his gifts, but could operate under an evil unction. Hebrews 2:3-4, John 15:7,16  Eccl 2:9. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3. The word of knowledge comes by the supernatural. It involves understanding things, which man cannot naturally know or understand but the knowledge is given by the inspiration of the holy spirit. John 4:16-18, John 11:11-15, 1 Corinthians 8:1-2.

Discerning of spirits this is the supernatural ability to identify spirits, their plans to examine doctrines and know if they are of Satan or God. The gifts of the holy spirit are for all believers who will ask. They are still being given to those who will receive them by faith. Our God is the same, he is willing to give the gift to the believers who truly from their hearts need it.

PRAYER FOR OUR CHILDREN

Parents rise and speak life into the lives of your children and i can assure you that things will begin to work well for our children. we have the responsibility to intercede for their salvation. For our children to live a better life and fulfill destiny their mind will play a major role. That is why we as parent must pray for them, for the lord to help them to manage their mind for optimum performance. Proverb 24:3, 1peter 2:2, Heb. 4:12

1. NO SICKNESS WILL TOUCH THE BODY OF OUR CHILDREN IN JESUS NAME.

2. OH LORD PRESERVE THE SOUL OF OUR CHILDREN IN JESUS  NAME.

3. OUR CHILDREN WILL  NOT DIE IN JESUS NAME.

4. I KEY OUR CHILDREN INTO COVENANT OF LONG LIFE AND PROSPERITY IN JESUS NAME.

5. SPIRIT OF OUR CHILDREN, REJECT SPIRITUAL ATTACK IN JESUS NAME.

6.I REMOVE THE NAMES OF OUR CHILDREN FROM THE BOOK OF FAILURE IN JESUS NAME.

7.WASTER OF DESTINY YOU WILL NOT LOCATE OUR CHILDREN IN JESUS NAME.

8. FATHER, LET YOUR GRACE FOR OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE REST UPON OUR CHILDREN IN JESUS NAME.

9. LORD, PLEASE FILL OUR CHILDREN WITH WISDOM IN JESUS NAME.

10. ALL OUR CHILDREN WILL FULFILL THEIR GOD'S GIVEN PURPOSE IN LIFE IN JESUS NAME.

FAITHFULNESS IN CHRIST

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE FAITHFUL? Faithfulness is proving oneself worth of trust. Faithfulness is ability to positively affect others with one's zeal. Faithfulness means to be royal. 2 Timothy 2:2 God expects all believers to be faithful because he is a faithful God. He adheres to his word. Hebrew 6:18. He who is faithful in small  will also be faithful in big, He who is also faithful in another mans business will be faithful in his/hers. Another ingredient for faithfulness is faultlessness. A faithful person must be upright and perfect. To be faithful means to be full of faith. Anyone who walks in doubt and fear can never be faithful. If you're faithful to put the word of God to work in your life, the word will work for you. Once you receive God's instructions, go do what he's told you to do. Determine to follow his plan and not your's.  Grace is a key word in studying or understanding the concept of faithfulness. Discipline is another vital ingredient to faithfulness, Discipline will lead to commitment of time and resources to the course you believe in. For one to be faithful, one must become prudent in determining what will be enough.  A faithful person must be someone that keeps secret and confidential information.

BENEFIT OF FAITHFULNESS

1. A FAITHFUL SERVANT WILL BECOME A MASTER
2. A FAITHFUL SERVANT WILL BE BLESSED IN HEAVENLY PLACES AND HERE ON EARTH.
3. A FAITHFUL SERVANT WILL ENTER INTO THE JOY OF THE LORD.
4. A FAITHFUL SERVANT WILL HAVE THEIR COAST ENLARGE.

BACKSLIDING IN THE THINGS OF GOD

BACKSLIDING MEANS BEING COLD TO THE THINGS OF GOD (rev 2.4). Or turning away from God (kings 11:9) You can also say backsliding is turning from God and turning to the world. Backsliding is a gradual process it doesn't happen suddenly, it may take days before it is complete. Most times we find some individuals who starts well in the christian race and then gets cold later. 1 Corinthians 10:12 says if we deliberately refuse his grace and assistance, we will fall. But i pray for someone reading this post you shall not fall in Jesus name amen. There are some causes of backsliding:
1. love of money (John 13:9)
2. Failure to read the bible.
3. Love of the world
4. Failure to walk in the light.
5. Failure to confess Christ
6. Ambition of power (Act 8:19)
7. Selfishness (Proverb chp 14:14)
8. Pride (proverb 16:18)
9. Disobedient (1 Samuel 15:11)
10. Failure to pray (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

To the backsliders, God says, return and be forgiven, and be healed (Jeremiah 3:22; Hosea 14:4) Return to God, Tomorrow may be too late. Probably yo have tried to live victoriously before and you have failed. 1 John 1:9 is still true. Jesus has never failed. Your failure has not weakened Christ. He is as strong as ever before and still able to give you victory if only you will yield to him. Amen

THE RESURRECTION POWER PART 2

There are some who deny the resurrection of the body, saying that the post-resurrection product will be a spirit only. 1 Corinthians 15:44 says it is raised a spiritual body, not a spirit without a body. In 1 Corinthians 15:35, there are two questions: (a) with what body do they come? (b) How are the dead raised? The answers  are 1 Corinthians 15. It is not the same body, but a transformed one, just as the plant is different from the seed that was planted(v.37). it is a God given body. It will be a body suited in every way to the individual spirit (v 38). It will be an incorruptible body incapable of death or decay. (V.42). those condemned in hell will have this indestructible body because the normal human body will just disintegrate in hell. It will be a glorious body for christian and a body with power.

Believers beg and cry and plead with God to perform wonders for them, but God has already made full provision for them in every area of life through Jesus Christ. After Jesus rose again from the dead he said to the Church, " All power and authority has been given unto you both in heaven and in earth" matt. 28:18. Then he ascended on high and sat down at the right hand of the father.
After Jesus ascended on high, he sent the holy Spirit to be with his people. And he gave us, the body of Christ, the power of attorney to use his name to receive whatever we need. Jesus also gave us his word with all those great and mighty promises. And he gave us the Holy spirit as the power behind his name to deliver us and set us free.   

SUCESSFUL CHRISTAIN MARRIAGE

A successful marriage is based on genuine heart agreement of the couple. They must be willing to establish a Christian home with the husband as head of the home, the wife a pleasant helpmate and with the family alter. The marriage must be based on lifetime anticipation. Marriage is not an experiment for a short time. It is permanent (Ephesians 5:25; Titus 2:4). Marriage is the oldest institution; Christians may only marry Christians in God’s sight 2 Corinthians 6:14-17. A Christian marriage is an institution where parents are bound together by Christian love, where children are happy and instructed with scriptures, where the lord Jesus is not only the supposed Head of the home but the actual Head and where parents and children gather daily for family worship. A Christian marriage is the marriage that radiates Christ, welcomes strangers and dispenses hospitality. The Christian marriage is the backbone of the nation, the salt of civilization and the glory of the Christian church. Christian marriage is the hope of the youths.

The secret of a successful marriage is in the family altar where Christ is crowned as Head. Love is another secret of a successful Christian home. Hebrews 12:6. God’s law and standard does not change, Any Christian who breaks his marriage vows is therefore playing with fire. A Christian marriage must be displined (i.e. being on guard against the devil on daily basis).   To be disciplined means: not to be entangled with worldly affairs or devilish suggestions. Living exemplary life for God’s glory. Our marriage will be successful in Jesus name, Amen.
