PRESSING FORWARD

MARK 10: 46-52

This is the records the opening of the eyes of blind Bartimaeus by Jesus Christ. The account of this story tells us that Bartimaeus did not allow those with two eyes intact to discourage him from getting help from the person he believed could deliver him. Blind Bartimaeus knew he would be the greatest enemy of himself if he allowed Jesus, whom he must have heard a lot about, to pass without calling his attention to his situation. After all, he was only blind, he wasn't deaf or dumb, he used what he had which is his voice and sight. He shouted louder to the extent that Jesus heard him, and sent for him. This year let nothing hinder you, you must press forward. The irony is that the people who tried to hinder Bartimaeus from getting his miracle were the same people who told him to cheer up because Jesus was calling him. That is why you must not listen to discouragers, mockers, negative people etc the only person you will listen to is the bible (the word of God) Just like David ignored Eliab, his brother, who was making an uncomplimentary statement about his enquiry as regards Goliath on the battle field (1Sam 17:26-30).

You must be determined to receive your miracle. No matter what, You must not stop crying to God until he answers you, until you receive your miracle, until your story changes. You may have been praying over a matter for some years, never give up. Don't be weary in prayer. Trust the lord, Jesus was on his way to the house of the Jairus whose daughter had died but was interrupted by the woman with hemorrhage for 12 years. Unfortunately, while the woman must have been rejoicing over her healing at last, he received a bad news that the daughter was dead."Yourlittle girl is dead. There's no need troubling the teacher now," he was told (luke 8:49) They're in essence saying there was no need for him to cry to the master again: he should accept the condition as his fate. But Jesus heard them and told the Jairus, Don't be afraid just trust me, and she will be alright. Luke 8:50 in the Name of Jesus everything shall be alright for you this year.
